How do Tualeron and Tualatin-S compare to the vanilla Tualatin? And has anyone actually found a non-S Tualatin that is faster than, say, 1.2GHz? I've never seen the Tualatin (non-S) 1400 in the wild. What happens if you format and fdisk the HDD on another rig? I used to do this all the time as it was a timesaver and I could pre-copy some files to the formatted harddrive so I didn't have to resort to other ways (like using ZIP disks or flash drives..or even floppy disks 😁)

Be very careful when choosing a PSU. Your motherboard doesn't have the ATX +12V 4-pin connector, so you'll be drawing heavily from +5V. Don't bother with your FSP PSU and that "Power" no-name unit. Regarding CPU cooler, from 754 all the way to AM3+, maybe even AM4, the same coolers should fit. At least the ones that mount onto the retention frame.
