Another option for AGP would be to use AGP only for 2D and use V2 SLI for the 3D. TNT2 M64 and TNT Vanta are ideal for this (the Vanta doesn't even come with a heatsink).

Personally I think ME runs fine with 192MB RAM (was using PC-100 @ PC-66, perhaps with a bit lower CAS latencies but I ccan't remember) and tweaking a couple bits really can help, especially with disabling a couple features like that system restore and a few other tweaks. ME really likes faster CPUs …

You should probably disable parity mode in the BIOS (if you manage to make it POST) and perhaps it's a good idea to first test each pair individually.
