It's not a game (sorry if I'm being off topic somewhat), but would Calmera XP benefit from having more memory? Gah, when typing this, I remembered that Calmera XP is a win 3x shell, not a DOS shell (though Win 3x is basically a DOS shell in a way).

Surely 😉 I know I should have at least 1 QS/ES. I 'might' have another one, but I can't remember. Frankly I'm not even sure if the chip is functional, 🤣 But indeed, ES's seem to have a higher probability of being unlocked then the QS's

One advantage that springs to mind is lower power dissipation... I'm not sure about the HT thingy. The important thing is:Will the HT bus be any lower when upgrading from AM2 to AM2+ or AM3?

The problem with server memory is that it's usually registered memory, which iirc isn't supported by desktop boards. Please correct me if I'm wrong 😉 ECC should be no problem though, even if a board doesn't support it, the ECC memory will function like a normal memory module.
