I need to get a 110v transformer that matches the millamps of the one that is already there. Matches or exceeds. Voltage needs to match exactly, but current can be equal to or more than what the circuit needs. Then I would also need to replace that 250v fuse with a 125v one with the same amperage. …

actually, late in console's lives, the games are pushing so hard against the bounds of the hardware that an upgrade is useful. Perfect Dark on the N64 is an excellent example of this. It's an awesome game, but it pushes the hardware so much that the split-screen coop mode is virtually unplayable. …

Yeah, that particular plug just had posts to solder to (or if it was hollow, it was too narrow for me to see!), it was very cheap though, about $4 delivered from Hong Kong. The Saturn plug had those little tubes, which helped a lot.
