Re: What do you drive?

Man, that's hilarious. If ever there was a point to stop doubting about the inevitability of the EV transition, this would be it. I'm not a professional editor either, I'm afraid. If I had time, though, I would gladly help you edit a fun YouTube mini-docu. Perhaps someone else here can step …

Re: DOS32AWE - DOS/4G compatible DOS Extender with Sound Blaster AWEUTIL MIDI synthesizer support for Protected mode,V

Possibly, Ghidra could have better heuristics or flow tracing here, but I highly doubt the flow tracer of Ghidra actually does a good job on non-conventional 16-bit x86 code that mixes real-mode and protect-mode code, as this kind of code typically no longer in focus of today's reverse engineering. …

Re: CP/M now Open Source

Good news! Thanks for sharing. :relaxed: CP/M was never a popular game platform, since it didn't even have a standardized graphics mode. But if an official open source CP/M port would be developed for the MSX architecture, replacing the still-proprietary MSX-DOS, you'd have a nicely standardized and …

I'd just like to say that it's good to see a long thread with a thoughtful debate going on, instead of a shouting match. Some might not consider that to be a high bar, but I appreciate it nonetheless. :slightly_smiling_face: Here is a suggestion: what if we agree that with any link to archive.org or …

By the way Sphere478, are you already familiar with A Better Route Planner ? It's a GPS navigation/routing app, but what sets this one apart, is that it takes necessary stops at suitable (fast) chargers into account when calculating optimal routes. You can specify your vehicle brand and model, and …

386MAX source code released

The source code of 386MAX, an alternative to EMM386 and QEMM, has been released under the GPLv3 license. Back in the DOS days, 386MAX was sold by Qualitas. 386MAX supports GEMMIS, which allows Windows 3.x to launch from DOS in 386 Enhanced Mode, even when the EMM manager is loaded. Also, it supports …

Re: What do you drive?

All in all we are only using about 50% of our range on average between stops. This is giving a nice buffer to hit the next stop if there is a issue with a charger, and also avoiding 80% plus is actually saving a lot of time. The last 20% is slow charge. That's a good habit. It's also better for the …
