Went back and checked my scripts, and yeah, you're right, WC1 needs EMS and I pull that in for it. For that particular game disabling the cache on the 486DX2 was enough to pull it down to effective 386 speeds, so that's what I did for that game, but I haven't played far into it yet or done a proper …
