I wasn't talking about that 26 pin, that one is obviously documented. I'm talking about the 6 pin connector on the edge of the motherboard, it is silkscreened as MINI_SMC. I should have used paint and draw a circle around the connector... Close to the MADE IN TAIWAN.

The best option for you really depends n what you want to do with them. If games are the only final end usage then yeah get an SC-55. But if the TG-300 is really at low price why not get it? It's a fantastic GM device, probably much more capable than the GM SC-55, and will probably serve you better …

I can't imagine an AdLib being noisier than a Sound Blaster 2.0. And from what i could hear (because i own both and tested it) it isn't. In fact i didn't find it any noisier than a Sound Blaster 1.5, but this is my experience.

I think a Sound Blaster CT1320C would be a better option for this system. That way you would get Sound Blaster, Gameblaster and Tandy all in one.
