This actually came as a surprise to me as I was producing the 15th episode of Ancient DOS Games... If you have a widescreen monitor (preferably 1920x1080) and put the right settings into DOSBox, you can turn an EGA 640x350 game into a widescreen game! I wonder if 640x200 is really that much slower in ega though since 16 color mode doesn't exactly have single pixel access mode and you might be able to setup the registers and pixels masks in a way to write 2 pixels at once. if it is dosbox it better have some optimization or i hope they get sued THEN burned. If it's DOSBox, then it's easy to sue them for false advertising since they claim it runs 100% of DOS games and DOSBox has never at any point in time run 100% of DOS games. (Mind you, it gets pretty darn close …
