Just like any wrapper place the wrapper files in the same directory as the game executable. When the pre-alpha came out on Steam I used steamless to unprotect the exe. Works well. There was a System Shock Demo released on GOG in 2016 but I don't think the Pre-Alpha ever was. Is the version of the System Shock Demo on GOG the 2016 ver or the same as the Steam Pre-Alpha or is it an Alpha?

1. Go to the DOSBox directory from the command prompt 2. Run "set SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windib" 3. Launch DOSBox using your conf fle If that works then you need to add SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windib to your environment variable. The reason you need to add it is due to the video card driver.

Can you press ALT+Enter to enter fullscreen and does it work? If it does work then when you are starting DOSBox it's likely not reading the config file you changed.
