It sounds like you don't know how to use DOSBox. A new version isn't going to help you there. Post exactly what you are trying to do with screenshots and a detailed explanation for each and mabye someone can help.

I remember using my game genie to come up with hacks for SMB1. Modifying the Qbasic games that game with DOS, changing the sun in Gorrillas to smile when hit with a banana. (Guess this doesn't count for this thread).

I do remember there being an issue with some games and a bug in the installshield uninstaller. Very rarely did anyone install their games in Program files and even rarer is people uninstalling their games instead of just deleting them so it wasn't noticed muched. You should always check the game config files to see if you can copy the CD contents to your hard drive and then change the game to point to that folder. If that's not possible then you can mount a folder as a CDROM but if you have multiple discs then you would have to account for that somehow. You …
