Ask the devs of that DOSBox port. Official DOSBox does not support phones\tables\Windows 9x guests.

Only reason to install it would be to become familiar with the OS. There was some benefit to running NT4\2000 vs 9x or 2000 vs XP or 2003 vs XP or 2008 vs Vista back in the day but not today.

Depends. If the machine is too old for mid 90's+ games in DOSBox using NT4 then NTVDM (with VDMSound & NOLFB)\Virtual PC\Vmware can be used. Yes Harekiet already answered that. Use DOSEMU or other virtualization programs if you require speed. DOSBox is a emulator for DOS games. Speed for us is not a good thing (within reason).

As long as it doesn't decrease their old game releases....which the Indie and New games they release seem to do. and no excuses about how "there aren't any more games out there" bullshit there's a metric asston of popular old DOS games not to mention everything that's not DOS.

I don't have this game so cannot test. Is there a CD Audio driver installed in the control panel? Also make sure you are using a bin/cue image and that you've mounted it using imgmount.

The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches DLC for Dishonored. Pretty good for DLC but it sucks coming back to play the game after weeks or months and trying to get back into the flow.

80 will only be open if you have IIS or some other program using that port. Run "netstat -anbo | more" to see your open ports. IIRC 445 should be available for both XP/7 so try that.

Verify that you can telnet to the port you have open from each machine. If you can telnet to the port then it's not a network issue. For Windows 7 make sure you do not disable the Windows firewall service but that you do turn off the firewall in the Windows FIrewall control panel.
