I used to use firewire for my external HD backups. It was much faster and more reliable than USB. Haven't touched it since I moved to using external NAS. EDIT eSATA is a PITA for external hard drives.

I'm with you there. I can't stand real-world location in games unless there is something different about it. Ex: Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life. Still didn't like Xen tho. 😀

There's a unofficial XP SP4 on the MSFN forums. As for future updates XP embedded and 2003 will still be patched for awhile so just like 2000 it's possible those updates will be ported to XP.

Thief (2014) 16 hours on Master difficulty. Didn't kill anyone but did knock out alot of guards. Completed all client side-missions but didn't complete all of Bassos side-missions.
