I'll save you time and effort. DOSBox currently only supports DOS and Windows <95. Use pcem or vmware,hyperv,virtualbox, etc.

You can try boxedwine http://www.boxedwine.org/ Anything else will require a copy of Windows which are not free or "abandonware" so don't ask for them here. You can find them elsewhere though.

Good job!....until the boot setup.exe To run programs in DOSBox just type in the name of the program, so "hello.exe" or "hello.com" or "hello.bat". Usually setup.exe files are Windows installation programs so likely if you run that program in DOSBox then it will complain because the executable wants …

Hmmm just thought of something. The steam fanboys always mention that Valve will push out a magical patch to make their (ie Valve) games offline when Valve disappears. Since they are dropping XP and Vista support (just like when 9x and 2000 support was dropped), this is their chance to prove it …

No single player but supposedly you can solo it, unknown if it would be worth it to do so. Unknown if you can setup your own dedicated server or not.

I didn't think GOG owned the rights to any games..... They have agreements with the publishers which allow them to distribute the games. If you want to share stuff with GOG then talk to GOG.....

Most likely your video card drivers have a bug. Try older or newer versions. You can also disable your video card in device manager to test with WARP.
