You are trying to run a 16bit Windows executable on a 64bit version of Windows. So you will need to install a 32bit version of Windows in VirtualPC, Vmware or VirtualBox and run your 16bit app in that.

The "work done" would be the "dynamic core" that dominus mentioned in his earlier post. The PPC build of DOSBox doesn't have a dynamic core. Use DOSBox on a x86 machine and be happy or start working on dynarec for ppc.

If you've tried all the output options then your only option is to upgrade or downgrade your video drivers. Hopefully you are changing the right dosbox.conf

They do have PATA SSD's (I don't mean the 2.5") but the type for embedded systems where it's a module that plugs in to the IDE port. Not sure what the performance diff is between those and CF is. The issue is that most ports change too much, for instance looking nicer although I'll concede that scalers are acceptable. Vavoom http://sourceforge.net/projects/vavoom/files/ … avoom-DOS/1.26/ Not sure if there are any newer DOS ports for the Doom engine games.

List the PC games that you have beaten Currently playing Walking Dead Season 1. Next will probably be Antichamber. Then need to finish up Borderlands 2 and Farcry 3. Just finished downloading State of Decay, Bulletstorm, Dishonored DLC, XCOM: Enemy Unknown and expansion.

Yeah alot of 3.1x games use it. As for a list....closest would probably be my PC Game Compatibility list but I don't have a category for it. I just list the games as having an issue and then list the WING requirement in the comments field. It's significant enough to think about.

IIRC Windows 98 and some other products were pulled from MSDN due to a licensing issue with Sun. It was easier to pull the products than spend time modifying them. They are widely available anyway.....
