Re: DOSBox Project Name Change

temptingthelure wrote: DOSbox is an awesome name, dont change it!! Something tells me your not objective.... 😀 I like the DOSBox name too. Kinda generic but it was the first PC emulator to have "box" in it's name so that's gotta count for something.

DOSBox Project Name Change

Since QBix mentioned changing the name of DOSBox in the SourceForge Project of the Month interview http://sourceforge.net/community/potm/ http://sourceforge.net/community/potm-200905/ Let's suggest some names! The following are names of other VM/EM software: Bochs Vmware Workstation/Server (Name of …

Virtual PC Beta is out on MSDN

Haven't had time to install it yet (user decided to bring me a non-company laptop to fix.....). So far it looks like this version of VPC does not support Windows 2000/XP. (The installer uses a .MSU extension which is Vista+ only). It also looks like it doesn't want to install on Vista but that may …

Also if you have 4GB of RAM or more then you will only be able to access 3. …

Re: 2 questions

64bit Vista doesn't support 16bit apps. You need to install VMware/VirtualBox or Virtual PC and then a 32bit OS in those VM programs to play 16bit games on 64bit Vista. I don't know about the Rogue Spear Platinum Pak but oridnary Rogue Spear with the expansions work fine on Vista. You may need to …
