Re: Encourage DOSBox support in Wakoopa

Well your not going to see anyone on the DOSBox dev team doing this since they are concerned with game compatibility and nothing else. I can't imagine it would be too hard to grab the currently running executable in DOSBox especially since it's shown in the DOSBox title bar. This really isn't …

Online game providers still don't get it

in Milliways
http://forums.demigodthegame.com/346815/ But the GameSpot review nailed us because of the connectivity with a 6.5. I’m pretty disappointed about that. [Begin Rant] First, I totally understand that connectivity is central to a game like this. I totally agree. But I think that should be weighted with …

Re: Turok 2 in XP/Vista with Wrappers not working

in Windows
You could try emailing the Glide64 dev and seeing if he wants to get that wrapper working with Turok 2 PC. It appears to work for the N64 ver and the PC version does see the wrapper, it just won't load the game. Looks like it was last updated in April of 2008 but that's alot newer than any other …

Try forcing 16bit color at the desktop. Reducing video hardware acceleration. Play the Nvidia driver game. Go through each video card offered in the game configuration program and try each one. Try the game in Windowed mode. Game has always worked fine on the Intel integrated laptops from my tests, …

http://drog.terra-arcanum.com/highres.html Arcanum High Resolution Patch is an extensive engine hack and probably the most complex mod I've done up to this point. It rewrites many subroutines to make the engine fully scalable to any resolution, and calculates positions of all elements of the …

Re: Problem with mouse in DOSBox

Try core=normal with DOSBox 0.65 and see if that works. IIRC, core=normal is the default for 0.65. Can't really remember. (You can verify by installing it, deleting the dosbox.conf and then typing "config -wc" inside of DOSBox to generate a new DOSBox.conf).
