Re: Win3D3D (D3D to OGL Wrapper)

It likely is slow...depending on the hardware. Alot of times people test VM products on laptops, The overhead of running a VM, low amount of memory on host/guest, slow disk drive and a crappy video card don't help. With a fast desktop computer, disk drive, memory, video card, and processor I'm sure …

If they are stored on an NTFS partition it may make more sense to use NTFS compression on the directory that they are stored on. NTFS compression will pretty much offers the same compression ratio as a zip file I believe.

Re: Teenagent for free

Sad thing about the GOG releases is everyone think that GOG made these games free even though they were free and widely available. (Don't know about this game). Well different game engines have different requirements. The games you listed are either unoptimized console ports or old engines optimized for older versions of OGL & DirectX. I don't remember anyone complaining about SS performance when it came out in 2001? Whereas people did whine about Quake 3 …

DOSBox only runs DOS games. DOSBox is not for Windows games. The error you received is because you are trying to run a Windows game in DOSBox. As for you downloading the game....WE DO NOT SUPPORT ABANDONWARE HERE. GO TO WHERE YOU DOWNLOADED THE GAME AND ASK THEM FOR HELP WITH IT. Thread Closed.

Re: DOSBox & Games with Multiple CDs

Mount in DOSBox or something external like MagicDisc or Alcohol 120%? What does CTRL F4 do exactly? Is it a for DOSBox? It's prefered to use DOSBox imgmount instead of drive mounting programs. CTRL+F4 swaps images and refreshes the drive cache. Info is in the super secret magical README included …

Re: Save mount settings?

DOSBox doesn't have an autoexec.bat, it has an [autoexec] section in DOSBox.conf where you put the commands that would have gone in Autoexec.bat in DOS. As for a Z image? Are you referring to a CUE/BIN file? Are you referring to a drive letter? The Z drive in DOSBox? You wouldn't be able to access …
