When the pre-alpha came out on Steam I used steamless to unprotect the exe. Works well. There was a System Shock Demo released on GOG in 2016 but I don't think the Pre-Alpha ever was. Is the version of the System Shock Demo on GOG the 2016 ver or the same as the Steam Pre-Alpha or is it an Alpha?

Currently $30 on Epic. Make sure you are using DOSBox v0.74-3 Are you using a CRT or LCD? DosBox by default will set the monitor to the resolution that the program requests which for most is 320x. 1. Go to the DOSBox directory from the command prompt 2. Run "set SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windib" 3. Launch DOSBox using your conf fle If that works then you need to add SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windib to your environment variable. The reason you need to add it is due to the video card driver.

Can you press ALT+Enter to enter fullscreen and does it work? If it does work then when you are starting DOSBox it's likely not reading the config file you changed.
