So your still trying to run the game from the emulate "D:\" drive and not the emulated "C:\" drive? and if the game is complaining about freespace it's because you didn't specify the command to increase the amount of disk space that DosBox reports as free. It's in the README included with DosBox.

The S3 Virge chipset was known as a "graphics decelerator"...and you have the integrated version likely with a lower clockspeed. Didn't Tomb Raider come out after this video chipset was released? (Virge-1995, Tomb Raider=1996) Also by Legacy of Kain do you mean Soul Reaver? Released in 1999?

What game? If it doesn't have an "install" file then the "install" command will not work.

So this issue is that when you run the game in DosBox in Windows that DosBox isn't fullscreen? When you mean you "click ALT+ENTER" did you mean that you held down the ALT key and pressed the ENTER key? You can also try setting fullscreen= in dosbox.conf

I don't know how well Intel graphics cards do on OSX but I know on Windows machines that I've had no end of issues with graphics related problems.... Are you sure that when you switch output= to a different value that it is using that value?
