Re: PC Game Compatibility List

Updated 1-7-2007 Did some Vmware Server v1.04 testing. Had alot of Vmware5/5.5/6 entries for games that run fine under Vmware Server so I retested those games and now almost all are listed under Vmware Server. A few are being stubborn so those will still be listed under VPC/Vmware5/6 for now. I also …

Re: Mounting Zips in DosBox Using a Frontend

Zip support doesn't work with the few games I tried. It seems that there is trouble saving configuration info into the write-mounted blank zip files that I specify (they remain zero-byte even after setup) and games that are unable to find setup configuration often fail to work. Is this a known …

Re: FoxPro 2.0 for DOS

Mabye FoxPro requires a memory manager to be loaded? I noticed that if I disabled XMS/EMS in dosbox.conf and then executed JEMMEX (Command: JEMMEX LOAD), then JEMM would actually load in DosBox. in Milliways

Re: Vesa modes in Blood, whole unit

in DOS
What exactly is the problem? Are the game graphics messed up in resolutions other than 320x or does the game not even switch to the higher resolution? If the game doesn't switch to the higher resolution then it's possible that the .cfg file is set to read-only. IIRC, there is a shortcut key in game …
