Your kidding right? The last response was 3 months ago. Your issue sounds like a gameplay problem. I don't have the game and the last time I played it was when it first came out so I don't know if the behavior is supposed to be like that or not.

If your talking about the new King's Quest collection that uses DosBox then it'll run the same as in does in Windows XP. Beat Half-Life 2. Had some issue with it crashing some times whenever I was in the Save Game screen and once while I was playing. Also it seems after having hundreds of saves the save system won't let you save anymore so you have to delete older saves...so that you can save.

Well I remember using Gulikoza's shaders on my ATI X800 video card which supports SM2. It's possible your video card only supports SM1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shader So if it's a DX8 video card then it's SM1.

It spent about 20 minutes on my cell modem updating and then I could play Portal....it then spent another 10 minutes updating because Valve sent out an update that day. It's definetly non legite. The "patch" is actually the Bioshock executable with the CD check removed and something done to the Securom protection to make it not check. So when you apply it you copy the patched Bioshock executable into the game directory and run the .reg file that adds the securom …
