heh. I was watching supernatural (tv show) last night and they always refer to "Hoodoo", it's not the same as "Voodoo" but there are similarities. If you want to stick to the "Voodoo" name you could always use "Vodou". GLVodou anyone?

I believe 4DOS (which works fine in DosBox, btw) also has commands to change the color.

HAL is as expert as your going to get with DosBox and serial support. Your only other options are contacting the comapny that made the program that your trying to run and the companies that made the USB to serial and PCMCIA card. Can you verify that your data isn't corrupted by running some tests?

Yup, loaded up Betrayal in Antara in DosBox using Windows 3.11 today and it works great. Game runs way too fast on my host and I hate using slowdown utilities.

You can't play the game off of the CD. You have to install it onto the hard drive which means you need to: Mount a directory to be your virtual hard drive in DosBox Mount your CDROM Install the game. Configure the game Play the game.

Don't you need the CD anyway for the CD Audio? If your playing Warcraft 2 without the CD Audio then you should be drug out back and shot. Seriously. I don't know what kind of NOCD patch it is but it's possible the game still looks for the CD when you load it (like the CD Audio mabye?). DosBox by …

Well you can't accurately determine the performance of a computer with just one program. Especially a benchmark program.

Have you tried the CVS Builds of DosBox from HAL 9000's site? (Click on CVS builds in my signature for a link to his site). He has builds of DosBox that have alot of support for serial ports. Also you may want to change cycles=auto to cycles=3000 when your troubleshooting issues with devices.

Run "dxdiag" in your "Run" and then I think you click on "display", on the bottom there should be DDraw/Direct3d buttons which should be enabled. Try booting your computer in safe mode and executing DosBox and see how fast it loads there.
