Hmmm, go into DXDIAG (Start/run/dxdiag)and make sure that there is no problems with your Directx files.

heh. I installed Windows 2000 on a P90 with 32mb of ram back in the day..... I definetly wouldn't want to use Windows 95 on a 33mhz machine tho. It was painful enough on a DX2/66 with 8mb of ram!

You don't get them anywhere except from the original CD. (Blood didn't have CD tracks did it?) I'm thinking it just shows up because of GliDOS Tomb Raider support.

Replace DOS4GW.EXE with another DOS4GW.EXE in "Deep Thought", or download DOS32A, rename it to DOS4GW.EXE and replace it with the DOS4GW included with the game.

Make sure that "read-only" is not set on the folder that you are creating the subfolders in.

Also make sure that your not using the latest UNIVBE, sometimes the older versions work better, like 5.3a

heh. It is annoying to constantly get questions about loading Windows in DosBox.......and then expect Windows in DosBox to constantly work when it's not (for now) really a DosBox goal.

huh. I don't remember seeing being allowed to download "abandonware" in a game's EULA before..... What may be morally right is almost always legally wrong.

I was talking about XviD but in any case if most people don't have it/them, why is the MPAA so worried about? They really aren't worried about Divx/Xvid, not really. What they are worried about is locking up their media so you have to buy a new copy for each device instead of you converting it …

Could cheat and use some HQ2X screenshots....but since it's not in CVS that would be cheating. Advmame2x would work tho.

The amount of free space on DosBox's emulated c:\ drive is 110mb. You need to specify the "-freesize xx" parameter to set the amount of freesize that DosBox shows. Ex: Mount c c:\games -freesize 400

Xvid/Divx are lossy and very processor intensive. ZMBV is lossless and because of that is not as processor intensive. If movie recording turns out to be pretty popular I'm sure we could probably work up an automatic conversion from ZMBV to divx/xvid for the lazy folk. (Not as a feature in DosBox tho …

Currently, you can't use share under DosBox. Use Qemu. It runs Windows 3.1 just fine and probably more than DosBox ever will.
