Your using a P3....trying to play DOS games.....and your complaining because they are outdated? Oh the irony. The SB16 or AWE32 are the two best cards for your configuration.

Can't help ya since it's always ran fine under Windows 2000 and Windows XP. What exactly is it doing? Does it not execute? Are there graphics problems?

I have to look pretty closely to see the difference @ 1280X1024 on my 21" Sony Trinitron E500 CRT. The letters do look alot smoother though.

I think 7-Zip uses "7Z" as it's icon. The Quicktime program's icon is shaped as a "Q". Opera is shaped as an "O" Vmware uses a PC monitor and a Tower Internet Explorer is shaped as an "E" Other icons for most programs are pretty abstract not giving any clue as to what the program does (which sucks). …

Well if a "better" one comes along then that one will be used. Until then ChaosFish's icon is very much appreciated and looks great. and I don't know what icon your looking at but the current icon is anything but "plain". Neverlock not working in 3-17 CVS. "Univeral Neverlock Spring 96" Not enough file handles available. Put Files=25 in the CONFIG.SYS. Clicking around with the mouse while the above error is shown also results in a nice frozen DosBox. 😀

You can easily use that one if you want. Windows easily supports changing icons. The reasons for choosing this icon have already been gone over in this thread.

Which version of DosBox are you using? Make sure you grab the CVS build from my signature, download either gulikoza's or ykhwong's. Also looking at your dosbox.conf it looks like your using "Core=normal", you need to change that to "Core=dynamic" if you actually want to play anything demanding like …
