Yeah, don't expect VNC support....mabye sometime in the far distant future. Qbix suggests a KVM (Keyboard,Video,Mouse) which sounds like what you want.

Well for CD Audio you'll have to use IMGMOUNT with an image created in CUE format using CDRWIN or Alcohol. The .CUE file references the DATA/AUDIO positions in the .BIN image file.

Do you have a "F Lock" key on your keyboard? On mine (it's not in front of me right now), IIRC it's above the ESC key. By default I am unable to use the F1-F12 keys as the original functions. I have to press this F lock key to use those F1-F12 keys as F1-F12 keys.

Don't have the game so can't really help but try hitting the Search button at the top of the page, type in "ripper" and read each of those threads. There's info on univesa, running ripper in DosBox and Vdmsound so hopefully you'll find a solution.
