Don't have the game but if it has a setup utility the you'll need to configure it for DosBox.

You cannot play Blood in DosBox with that computer....but it should run fine on the host. Search the forum....

Just enter any command that you would in DosBox in the autoexec section. So "Mount c C:\" in DosBox would be. "Mount c c:\" in the autoexec section of DosBox.conf.

I must be getting soft in my old age. 🙁 If you read the README include in DosBox then you'll find what you need to speed up DosBox. Alot it would help if you actually told us what the game is.

How are the downloads handled? I noticed that the links go through PHP. I've also noticed thousands of downloads on some of the files. Does this add any extra load? Perhaps adding links to an FTP server or http would be better?

AMD's Quite@Cool (downclocks processor speed) seems to work fairly well. I'd assumed that it was causing problems with Vmware on my sisters machine but loading up Rmclock proved otherwise. Don't bitch at me for suggesting this but why not use a port for Doom such as Jdoom or the SDL version of Marathon? IIRC, the SDL ver of Marathon even has updated graphics and fixes.

I've noticed the behavior he's experiencing. Since I juse many different CVS builds (some with different SDL vers) and don't experience the behaviour that much I never really notice it. Upgrade or downgrade your audio drivers. If that doesn't work then reduce or increase your sound acceleration.

yeah I didn't think reinstalling would do much but it was worth a shot. Have you tried a NOCD crack? Try (site that rhymes with blame floppy hurled) I would suggest trying the different command line options but you can't even get the game loaded so I doubt anything there would be usefull.
