Re: Fullscreen, yeah right!

heh. Should have thought of that but since I rarely used LCD's I totally forgot about it! Thanks for posting back that it fixed the issue. Might help in the future with other people. You haven't touched it in a year? Shame on you!

Re: sound is very jerky when using sb emulation

Nah, it's not VdmSound that's eating up the cycles. It's NTVDM (Windows NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista's DOS emulation layer). Yeah, I think VDMSound refers to Idle Sensitivity as "try to reduce cpu usage....among other things", I'll have to look at it again tho. As far as sound quality goes it depends on …

Not sure if we should make subforums, Linux,Windows,DOS,MAC,etc..etc. Basically the list would be too long for subforums so I propose just a …

Re: Can DOSBox run DAT files?

install.dat is simply a data file. You cannot run a file that ends in .dat (well...ah nevermind). Anyways the only files you'll see for installing DOS games are install.exe, setup.exe, or install.com, setup.com or .bat. If the setup.exe is telling you that it must be run under Windows then...run it …
