I have an ATi 9250 pci. so far it works in EVERYTHING. Even 5v pci slots. I've ran it overclocked and its always worked. Be careful about pci 9250's though. Amiga crackpots have overpriced them to high heaven. at least the 5v ones. i'd read into it more, but I couldn't care less about amigas. And …

I would say if it works in a 66mhz PCI-X slot, then it should also work in a motherboard that overclocks the PCI bus.

Is there a difference between a 100HF and a 100GF? The biggest difference I can see is that the HF has a heatsink attached and the GF doesn't. No battery would be a big issue for me. Even if it came with a dead battery, at least you'd have the shell and guess what? You can rebuild a lot of laptop batteries yourself because they use standard NiMH cells that you can buy from any electronics shop inside the battery shell.

The Rush isn't THAT bad. It's still better than a Rendition V1000 or a Virge and if you find a Hercules card, they did some tweaks to the reference design to minimize the loss of speed.

I took a chance on these a few days ago Only $18 shipped, so if just one of them works I come out ahead. The two larger ones are G3-350mhz and 400mhz, the ZIFs are all G4-400 except for one that is G3-500.

Something to think about is PCI versus VLB. Having PCI greatly increases the number of cards you can use.
