Have you tried plugging in a faster card with the faster CPU's to see if you get a bigger improvement with 3DNow! turned on?

Got an Intellivision lot today. Had a voice module in it and a bunch of commons but also had copies of Pole Position and Dig Dug, which are two of the harder to find games.

Too much money. There's isn't a chance in hell that anyone is just going to be able to magically produce $575K to pay for that lot. His only chance of selling it, if he's really serious about selling it, is to break it down into smaller lots.

That makes sense. The Winchip2 performed much better than the mP6 in 3DMark99Max, which I assume utilises 3DNow!. I guess Quake 2 doesn't make use of 3DNow!? Go SCSI. Anything that lifts some of the burden off of the CPU is going to benefit your games tremendously and save/load times will be a lot snappier not only because of the faster rotational speed of the drive but also the increased bandwith SCSI provides over early implementations of IDE. …
