Re: Rage Fury Maxx

I don't see how the ATi driver for a Rage Fury Maxx requires DX7 when it's only a DX6 card. Here's the legacy Rage drivers all on one page. The Rage Fury Maxx is the second on the list. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/legacy-98me.aspx Notice how the Maxx requires a different driver …

Re: Which Operating System to go for?

Riva TNT2 M64 definitely has Windows 98 drivers. nVidia has Windows 98 drivers from Riva 128 all the way up to GeForce 6. Here's the latest legacy driver for TNT and TNT2. I assumed you wanted the English drivers. http://www.nvidia.com/object/win9x_71.84.html If the latest driver doesn't work then …

And CF-to-IDE adapters are a cheap, effective solution, are they not? They're not cheap when you could have …

I'm pretty sure most Xbox 360 and PS3 games run at 30fps and they still remain playable. Ideally you would want 60+FPS for fast paced games. For some games frame rate isn't important, like puzzle games or board games, but for the types of games the typical XBox 360 or PS3 buyer plays FPS is of …

Re: Battle Arena Toshinden on Matrox Mystique

in DOS
Try to find a Mystique edition of Mechwarrior 2. It was an amazing version. And Scorched Planet looked nice on the Mystique ( I think it shipped with the card ) but it lacked something, more of a tech demo than an enjoyable game. You mean this old thing? http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e160/ …
