could be a HP underclocked tnt2-m64 ... I was thinking underclocked, too. OEM's buy the cheapest cards available and being able to run them without a fan/heatsink saves them money. It also gives the video card supplier a chance to unload some of their sub-par parts that don't run at retail speeds. …

Quake had a hardware accelerated mode (VQuake, GLQuake). Indy Car Racing II was a showcase game for the Rendition Verite cards alongside VQuake.

The graphics card actually sends out a 3840x1024 (or whatever) full picture, then the Matrox box splits it up for the monitors. But when you take a printscreen, you'd of course get the stuff from the graphics card - frame buffer pre-matrox, i.e. a full barless picture... :cool: http://techgage.com/ …

I've seen loads of stuff like this on newegg.com. Just take a look at PCI cards or the $25-$50 price class. The weirdest thing I've seen is a GeForce 6200 for $164! According to the title it's a dual-GPU card with 4 VGA ports, but the picture shows a card with two DVI ports. Seems a bit fishy to me …
