Are there any DOSBOX games that come with ENGLISH readme files ? No, there are no DOSBox games. Yes, there are DOS games with english READMEs.

Just go back to the beam portal that takes you to the room with the big gun (already destroyed), and return to the elevator. Worked then, maybe a game bug. (opens with S + return, then just move in).

Works fine here (dosbox 0.73 under vista, free pascal 2.4.0). Anybody else under linux who can try that please?

Obviously that's no config file from a 0.73 installation, and then it doesn't look like you installed it correctly/kept the right mountings.

This is a bug in the installer, try this: create a dummy AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS file in the root of the mounted C: drive.

0.72 config files will still work in 0.73, no need to convert It is STRONGLY disadvised to use old config files. If you have many config files around, maybe consider using a frontend.

If you think frontends are too complicate, use dosbox without a frontend, that's as pure dos as it can get.

It can take a while to arrive this way. And there's a good chance it'd be blocked if certain triggers are present. And you still say it's a problem of the forum? Especially in your case the admin would have gotten some useless mails, needed to check what's going on etc. just because there's a delay …
