Yeah replace one with 13, same content. What do you mean that the dos port is broken? If it can't handle uppercase extensions that thing would simply not work in dos.

Maybe if you'd posted in the right forum. Imo pretty stupid to post "anyone" one hour after another posting. FAT is uppercase and DOS case insensitive so if gcc requires lowercase then their dos port (wherever that comes from) is broken.

Is that too unexplicit in the readme? And don't see any wrong message given that imgmount's default (cdrom omitted) are harddrive images.

Depending on what cdrom interfacing can be used by sdl/dosbox to directly access the cdrom on OSX the cue/bin should be superior. If it works then i don't know.

Can't do that with the original CD. Then use some cool OSX tool to create a cue/bin from that cd.

Does profiling aided compilation help at all on these cases? Only if e.g. graphics output (scaler etc.) are source of the problem. to emulate at the dynarec level some techniques of modern cpu's (out of order execution for example) This indeed may work, given that the recompiled blocks live very …

why not set your cpu to max in the dosbox config file IF you are already using a fixed cycle rate. Neither does this sentence make sense nor would, reading it either way, this be a good suggestion.

well, the application that I got runs of the CD directly Are you absolutely sure about that? Is there anything else besides the main executable on the cd? Does it work on a different win2000-pc (where for example the drive letter is different)?

Any reason for that? Sure, but again only microsoft can answer that. You might figure out some windows functions (lowlevel or not) that do not trigger windows' own error handling, but then you'd also have to clutter the code with a lot of if (no_disk_in_drive) things.
