my source code is fine, i run it on my university and its ok. HOW do you run it there? And next time what about posting some information about your system, like the dosbox version and stuff?

Accounting programs are not a target of dosbox (besides your report not even containing the dosbox version or anything of relevance). set path should work fine in dosbox as it did under dos, if that's what you are looking for.

I think that previous version of DOS-BOX was working well with share. This was a bug, more an unimplemented table that accidentally said "share is enabled for this drive" where it wasn't. So even if the app MAY look like it works, the results are arbitrary.

No they look into some dos table chain for a byte to have a certain value, but it doesn't really matter how they do it.

Dunno how that would effect the SOUND not playing. Of course it could be affected by how you installed and configured the game, but everything is pure guesswork as this thread had already to grow 7 entries long to get at least minimal information about your dosbox setup.

nb=no bilinear (filtering) so the openglnb is blocky depending on the resolution.

Create an empty directory on your physical c-drive, mount that as c in dosbox. Mount your cdrom as you did above, then install the game. Please post the EXACT steps you perform, including the response of dosbox. Right before starting the installer take a screenshot and append that to your posting if …
