I could not fix it and didn't find anything that'd even hint at that this very version ever worked, so trying it on a sb16 pc and verifying that it actually does would already help.

I don't know of any other (since 0.73 were no commits.....), and an "ever since" changelog might be very very long actually 😀

Small hint btw: Edit: Well i havnt got one response, I dont know whats worse instant rejection or none at all. This sort of edit is quite bad because it slips through the "new post" feature. Only read it now by accident.

The tricky thing might be that what you're thinking of depends on the input resolution (320x200->320x200, 640x400->320x200, 640x480->320x2?0). Otherwise i'd have suggested a "skip every second row/column" or an averaging filter.

I didn't get what the actual idea is, do you have an additional scaler in mind that squeezes everything into a fixed resolution? Maybe check nop's port (pocketpc): n0p is alive - and coding which has some qvga/vga scaler (no idea what it does).

You've completely lost me, if the mountings are incorrrect then command c:\dir would not bring up the contents of the folder after i have mounted. The mountings are incorrect in that the game expects the correct directory structure, and NOT that you can "dir" some files.

As already noted several times these mountings are WRONG, use the ones you used during installation of the games, unless you have a c:\INTRPLAY\MAX\INTRPLAY\MAX installation.

What are you interested in? Doing something new, trying to figure out and document/try to improve something, work on something architecture/cpu specific (recompiler). What level of knowledge do you have in programming/in working with dosbox and dosbox sources?

Besides what oolie mentioned, you're using a different mounting when running the game compared to when you installed it: Command : mount c ~/INTRPLAY/MAX Command : c: Command : max.bat No idea why you're doing that, but please stick to the EXACT same mountings that you used during installation, …

Please post full information about how you installed the game (BOTH pcs), the exact mounting lines used during installation and when running the game, and the contents of that batch file.

Current logic depends on some cga port's bit being set to switch to composite display, thus you may not "carry over" that mode.

For some reason, I got the impression from wd's reply that he thought that it could not be done. 😀 It's already been done in a noninvasive manner so why shouldn't it be (easier) with an invasive one.
