There's no sarcasm in the above posts. It's a fact that tcp/ip isn't "same city" local if you're using internet-accessible ip addresses, as explained in several threads already.

Check in the debugger if both games actually use the same resolution. And besides that stop posting in caps.

It's odd that SDL returns all zeroes for the settings. Does it work under your OS for native games/apps or does it need special drivers? Can you test it on a different pc with possibly different drivers?

Maybe they use a special version of tp5.5 or not tp5.5 at all. Ask them if you can use their version, tp5.5 is available at the borland page as well so that should not be a problem.
