Are you sure this works for vga then? As irq2 was almost never implemented for vga cards (intlist states that the original ibm vga doesn't call irq2 as vret interrupt, but that information might not be correct iirc).

Mouse works fine ever since for me with tp6 or tp7x or bp7. Maybe try some game to see if the mouse works at all.

hm could you please post the exact content of the dosbox console window? maybe access can be disabled if buttons==axes==0 or so for joysticktype=auto

Well copy the "programs from your desktop" to your disk image. Doesn't sound like you need permanent access to the folder anyways.

As already noticed mounting "folders" doesn't work under msdos (go bug microsoft if you don't like it), so what do you want to do? Are you sure that transferring files before booting into msdos isn't enough? Why do you need into msdos at all?

What do you want to do? If you got a fat16 image you can use imgmount to transfer files from/to the image before booting from it.

Next time please use hex values as decimals are hard to read (for me...). Can you set up a build with the debugger enabled? If not things are way trickier, you'll have to use some external debugger to trace dosbox code. When the dos exec successfully returns (debug DOS_Execute() for this) verify …

Sounds like a bug in the game+NC combo to me, especially with conv memory/umb sizes. So disable the latter, use loadfix -f before starting your NC (possibly followed by a loadfix 32 or similar).

check out src\misc\programs.cpp, especially PROGRAMS_MakeFile() and the exe_block[] struct which contains the code that is run when that .com/exe file is executed. Please post full system specs and what exactly you're doing. Also try to compile a debugger-enabled build and use "debug mem.exe" and single stepping to see where it goes off.
