Thanks for reporting back. Please split up the block you posted, that is having one with the +-0.05 for the logging, and one WITHOUT the +-0.05 for the retval |= 8 (so no functionality is changed). +-0.1, vga did not hang while playing Dragon Strike or Dune 2. Log doesn't show anything special …

Well instead of typing "name-of-the-game-executable.exe" you type "dos4gw195 name-of-the-game-executable.exe" if dos4gw195 is the (renamed or whatever) dos4gw.exe ElPusher posted.

Maybe try "cycles max 50%" or lower values. For loadfix, just enter it without parameters ("loadfix" that is).

Well it seems to use VESA, so no problem with the chipset or whatever. Yet you could try ykhwong's build, see the dev forum (change the emulated chipset in dosbox.conf then).

Unlikely, normally they don't touch the hard disk (unless something goes wrong, or it has a virus, or both). Safest thing: make a (disk)image of the disk and play it in some emulator.

Their is dosbox for the os/2 and i doubt those go faster than a pentium without being upgraded They do, and even if not they're x86 and the amiga isn't (unless i missed something badly).

I can run duke 3d on a 500 mhz computer with dynamic mode amiga not have dynamic mode, that's problem
