Arg you won't believe this. Removed the SATA controller and hooked up the CF adapter and the bloody game works. It's moments like this that make you want to arm a nuclear device in your man cave and end it all :dead: The CONFIG.SYS is a little bit different though, so I'll do some more investigating …

320 x 240 is aspect corrected 320 x 200 :) That's what aspect=true does. Set it to false and you will get your 320 x 200 pixels. What is the native resolution of your monitor? How do you take screenshots? If you use the DOSBox built-in screenshot function then it saves them as 320 x 200 images, no matter what resolution you have on the screen. You will then manually have to aspect correct the images. SCSI? Hmm a bit outside of my area here... What about partition utilities, like the ones on the Ultimate Boot CD? Haven't come across partitions that can't be deleted via FDISK. You need to use the option "Delte Non DOS partitions".

Yes this is because of aspect ratio and to do with pixels on CRT monitors being rectangles, whereas on LCDs they are square. It's a basic Maths problem. These SATA <> IDE adapters don't fix the BIOX limitations. This is something to be aware of. Whereas with PCI SATA controllers, or any dedicated controller card with its own BIOS, this is being taken care of.

That's exactly the idea! Share the info about the games you have managed to get going. So it will be easier for everyone. Anything that gives a full installation CD is an instant buy for me 😀 I once bought a few games and found out they use ScummVM. I was pissed 😠

Elinda I do know that DVI captures at 60 Hz 😀 Fancy doing a video tutorial on VDub? So far I haven't been able to get anywhere with it... Whenever I research these video stuff I end up in some deadend after having shot my machine to pieces with codec packs 😵
