You need to chill out a bit and not take things personal based on your circumstances :) Kids DO love games like COD, that's why they sell so much. You can't blame the publishers when the masses actually PREFERS COD over games like Crysis. Why on earth wouldn't they make games people actually want to …

Ok I see. Well the USB is not meant to be used like you are using it :) You need another floppy emulator on the computer that reads the USB. OR you get a standard floppy drive (there are USB types) and then copy that disk on your retro PC from a real floppy to the USB one. I don't have / use Unix. …

The 1000 images are all formatted after holding down the buttons on power on. Just got to then select what floppy you want and copy over. Do you have a floppy emulator in your Windows 8 machine? What I haven't managed to solve yet is finding a way to backup the entire USB. Because a stuffed up …

Is the breath noise alternating between the left and right channel? I get it in both units daisychained. The SC-55 with both logos and SC-55ST (MKII without LCD display). I cycled through the parts on the SC-55 and it shows Breath Noise on the display. Where can I get the fixed MIDI driver from?

Does the drive have a headphone port? And what sound card does this computer have? What CD driver do you have in CONFIG.SYS.

The specifications show 24 vs 28 voices when comparing the two units. Interesting. Now Duke3D has an issue with sending/or not sending a reset. I believe the conclusion was to restart the machine or MIDI unit before you run this game. But my memory is fuzzy on that point 😀

I've seen these cheap capture devices. My issue with them is that most of them seem to only claim to support Win7/8 while I want to run it on XP. But oh well, for that price may as well give it a try... I found the opposite! Everything works with XP but most don't specify if they work with W7/8 64 …
