Hmm I believe old games shouldn't be remade. They are fine the way they are. However I would love to have new games that use the same technology / look and feel. Like another Space Quest that plays like Space Quest 2 or another Gateway that plays like the old Legend Adventure games.

Interesting... To be honest I wouldn't wory too much about it. The AWE64's GM support isn't that great IMO you are better off saving the time / hassle / money and just buy a external Roland Sound Canvas!

Isn't this something you only need for PCI sound cards? The AWE64 Gold is an ISA card and that's all you need 😀 IF your board has ISA slots then just use ISA cards. The whole NMI only matters for boards that have no ISA slots.

Also note that The Heart of China is optimised for the MT-32 (Old) and MUNT AFAIK tries to replicate a CM-32L. Games like this will sound off on a real CM-32L too.

Don't forget the CPU. To play SVGA games in DOS you want as much CPU power as possible. P3 with 1GHz or higher...

Very nice! Lucasarts and Sierra have some CMS games. Monkey Island, Loom, Last Crusade, Prince of Persia, Space Quest 3, Police Quest 3 and likely some others.

Interesting issue... Instead of "going into" full-screen mode (I assume you use ALT+ENTER), change the config file so that it starts in full screen mode right away. You could also upload your config file onto here and have us take a look.
