DOSBox can be quite confusing when you are new to it. IMO download and install D-Fend reloaded, a user friendly frontend that comes with DOSBox. Then use the wizard to add your two games from the CD.

I found that DOSBox works quite well on netbooks as long as you stick with older games from the 386DX / 486SX era. Getting sound going on vintage notebooks will be a real pain unless they come with something onboard. Definitely check out some of the newer Pentium notebooks as the cache can be …
