So what's the worst ISA card you can get? My 386 went into warranty once and they replaced the VGA card with one from OAK. All my games ran slower...

Yes you can have multiple cards, but you need to manage the resources (Address, IRQ and DMA). With a Pro 2.0 and a MPU401AT there is nothing redundant, so it's very easy to configure. Sourcing a SCC-1 instead of a Sound Canvas would solve both your issues! It's a Sound Canvas AND MPU401 interface in a single card. The other option is to find a Roland MPU401 card, but they can be just as hard to find as a SCC-1 and they won't be cheap unless you get lucky.

Yea that looks fine! Check the BIOS and see if you have options for L1 and L2 Cache. If you disable both you will have ~ 386DX, if you disable only L1 you will have ~ 486DX2. Indy 500 was awesome! I had PC speaker back then and you could do some basic tuning of the car, which was necessary in order to win the game. You could also do some really cool crashes. I think it was a terrific game!

Yea it's quite interesting... I will just settle for openglnb and recommend it from now on. It's result seems to be consistent and it doesn't throw Aero when you toggle between window and full screen which is nice...

Yea that shot was with ddraw. There might be other factors we arent aware off. I'm using ATI onboard graphics and W7, so there might be differences depending on what hardware and software one uses.
