Hi I have this old game from EA and I am trying to get it to work in xp. It installs fine but when I come to run it the program doesnt even try to run just a slight pause then nothing. I've tried all the compatibility modes still nothing. Has anybody got this to work in Xp?

Hi, although Settlers 2 does run fine for me, it does bypass the intro video on start and when i select the intro from the main menu dosbox just crashes to the command line. Has anyone any idea on how to make this game work with the intro please?

Had the time to try star trek tng interactive cd and it works fine in dosbox with windows 3.1 installed

Thanks to you both. The games work fine after giving xp in the vm just 512MB anything over that and they just crap out. Thanks very much it could be a good trick to help me with others sometime

i'm pretty sure star trek tng interactive will work running dosbox with windows 3.1. may be worth trying the others that way too

Hello, I've successfully installed this game but when running i get illegal reads/writes to 16bf0f07 and 08 CS:IP 180: 1e21c6 then the game just hangs with a black screen. I have default settings in dosbox, if anyone could give some help on how to get this running please

just install daemon tools that supports windows 98 pretty simple

screamer 2 works fine for me with the same dosbox build in 3dfx

Hello, I've had plenty of success playing lots of games running windows 98SE under dosbox however i have never been able to get windows to detect the gamepad. It works fine under dosbox etc but 98SE doesnt want to see it, any ideas?

Doesn't matter I loaded the image with ultraISO then selected file>properties and selected "allow lower case" in the file system tab and then slected the Label tab and entered Pro_Pinball_1 next to abstract file then saved the image. Runs great now in Dosbox
