There are Asus drivers available for video, IDE, network, audio etc for 98SE, do you mean first edition 98? Also if you need a chipset driver, check the SiS website for 651 chipset drivers. Usually they'll have something.

I've got at least two of the three 1512 manuals around, one of which is the hard disk manual. From memory it's not as technical as other 1512/1640 documents I've seen but will let you know when I locate it.

Did DDR3 deliver a big benefit over DDR2 for 775 systems? Just curious. Anyway, I guess if you buy the Rampage then the upside is that it will still hold some of its value if you go to resell it. Those boards command a premium generally.

My panels get power directly from the PSU on those pins, that seems to be the standard design. If you've got the complete original build there, there might still be a 2-pin adaptor hanging off one of the Molex connectors. If you don't have the right connector it shouldn't be too hard to make one up …
