...BTW - have you ever gotten USB2 to work on W95? As for USB2, I think the point is sort of moot since there are hardly any USB devices with Win9x support to begin with. I did however once manage to get it working by using a PCI-to-PCMCIA (Cardbus) adapter and a generic Via chipset USB2 cardbus …

I wonder, is there any reason to use Win95 OSR2 over say Win98SE? My guess is that for most people the answer is - not really. But there a *are* a number of early-mid 90's games, particularly flight sims in my experience, for which W95 3dfx upgrade patches were released and that only really work …

I'm not sure either, but the back/forward button is the big 'thrill' as far as I'm concerned, and worth the trouble for me - also I like the way navigation windows can be modified and saved better - though I don't like "View as a web page'. I agree that for W98SE not much else is needed. But I do …

For my W95osr2 installs I go: IE4 IE5 Desktop Update USB supplement USB update USB Flash update This gets USB1.1 operating ok [no luck with USB2 yet] and Windows Explorer works pretty much like W98se at this point. I don't go on line so the IE updates are purely for the navigation and shell …

Re: JOYSTICK ... favorite?

Speaking of 'bike' controllers, I have Thrustmaster's motorcycle controller. It's pretty good - especially for a sim like SuperBike 2000/2001, tho it takes time to get used to the setup after coming from a car controller. It's set up a bit different than in real - no foot pedals for gear change or …

Re: Mig Alley - MFC Application error?

well Collector, like I said, rolling back on the video drivers to 13.1 got it going so you are right on that score. But I suspected as much which is why I rolled back my installs until I found the point Mig Alley started running again - which was the the change from 13.1 to 13.4/13.8. This is the …
