Does anyone know of any commonly available non-socket4 heatsink and clasp systems that will work for a socket 4 pentium 60? I'm assuming most Pentium 60/66's didn't have a glued on heatsink.

OK, I have changed only register 72 bits 1&2. They were at 0,0, and I changed them to 1,1. No change to register 50 is needed as this is set by the BIOS for WT or WB. There's a 60 MHz FSB option. Maybe the PCI bus runs at 30 MHz in this case, I'm not sure. There's no specific PCI bus speed option via jumper or BIOS. I think I should try the games in software mode and see if there is any change.

I’ll be very interested to know the brand and colour of paint you find that matches the bezel. I haven’t found any rattle can colour that I was happy with and I tried 3. You might want to rerrobrite the bezel first if you haven’t already.

So we are assuming that "AUTO" on the Asus boards is synonymous with "WT". I will edit my BIOS using MODBIN in the coming days to see what happens. EDIT: ANother question, were you able to run sis.exe when your BIOS was setup to L2:WB? On my board, sis.exe only works with L2 is set to AUTO.

OK. sis.exe only works on my system if L2 is set to AUTO. If I set L2 to WRITE-BACK, sis.exe causes the system to hang up. Speedsys now shows improvement with the 7+1 dirty tag ram strategy.
