Oh, I didn't realise that the motherboard needs its own config file as well; I thought just the expansion card needed a config file to add the RTC's NVRAM. The RTC's RAM doesn't already contain the motherboard's config information? [yes, I'm new to EISA]

I didn't see an exe installer, only slipstream.bat in the harkaz pack and install.bat in the GH0stPak. The harkaz pack must have the August 2018+ SSE2 updates because after installing it, Windows Update didn't show any such updates as being available. Which RAM sticks did the system come with? Were they EDO or FPM? I'm guessing FPM with parity. And the 2x32 MB sticks you tried are FPM with parity? Was the non-working IBM server RAM w/parity of the FPM or EDO variety?

The 7-8 bridge looked like a large flat piece of flattened solder. It got knocked off when I touched my multi-meter probes to it. Its not there now. Could this temporary bridge have killed the onboard transistor-looking component on the adapter board?

Thank you for checking this. That is quite a bit of difference in benchmark results. I'm interested to see if using the same micro-SD card on both versions changes this at all. I personally use a SanDisk Extreme PRO A2 card. Unfortunately, the smallest size it comes in is 64 GB.
