Serpent Rider, do you know how to disable OpenGL Vsync for the Diamond S540 card? When I open PowerStrip, there is only the Direct3D option to disable VSync. All other graphic cards that I used, Powerstrip showed the option to disable OpenGL Vsync. Thanks!

If there is little to no cost for the system and I just need to pay ground shipping to Canada, I'm interested. I've always liked the high-end classy look of these NEC systems. EDIT: It's also interesting to see that the system got away with a case fan and not direct heatsink fan.

I also tested the GF2MX on this system and will publish the charts in the next few days - Radeon 7000, GF2MX, G450, and S4 Savage4 Pro+. With -nomtex added to the shortcut startup command, the framerate drop w/Vsync enabled is from 43.6 fps to 40.6 fps. Or from 55.8 fps to 50.9 fps w/Vsync disabled. Does 3dmark2001 work is you change the graphics card? Do 3D accelerated games work? Does a single stick of 128 mb work? I couldn’t even use a single 128 mb stick at 83 MHz. Wonder what’s going on here.

What error do you receive when running 3DMark2001? Perhaps its the graphics card or driver causing the problem. I'm not sure how reliable Vopt's HDD test is. Only 50% faster. Hmm... Its possible that I used an underpowered computer for the 10 mbit and a much faster computer for the 100 mbit. I'd have to run these tests again.

Radeon 7000 ran without any issue. I found the oldest driver version which worked with RV100 was 4.13.7199. Only game that didn't play was Unreal in OpenGL mode. D3D worked fine in Unreal. All other D3D and OpenGL games ran. Results were a bit better than the G450 and Savage 4. But now I am curious …
