elianda - I notice that your VLB NexGen board has a turbo switch. My PCI board doesn't contain a turbo switch header, but it contains a turbo LED header. Very strange. It would be interesting to benchmark it against AC's EISA system. I think his memory scores were more in the PCI-486 range.

Are you able to boot into Win9x and WinNT4 and run some programs, e.g. internet explorer, Office, Win games, and not have the system crash? The L1/L2/RAM speeds seem quite a bit lower than on PCI boards, e.g. for Cyrix 5x86-120, usually expect around L1/L2/RAM: 173/68/48 MB/s.

You aren't able to use branch prediction in DOS at 100 MHz, even at 3x33? What if LSSER is set to 1? I think Linear Burst works mostly with UMC 8881 systems. For me, 2x66 with an IBM 5x86c required 3.7 V and the QFP variant. With the QFP chips, 3.55 V was sufficient enough to at least POST.

Are you able to enable branch prediction in DOS (you'll need to disable LOOP and maybe RSTK). I recall Anonymous Coward having issues with setting LSSER to 0 on his system (perhaps speed dependent?).

Yea, PCI w/P110 CPU. Its hard to trust the memory scores with all those peaks and valleys. I should see if other memory graph programs have this problem.

I am able to use the VLB graphics card with the Am386DX-40, however, to get the system to boot up, I had to set the "Cycle Check Point" to "Normal" instead of "Fast".
